In 2001 at the Lordos Beach Hotel a group of dentist’s from the “Famagusta Dentist Club” attended a two days course which included first aid and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator.
This was the very first course, ever to be conducted in Cyprus, before any legislation’s or even any awareness of the existence of such a device.
The course included primary and secondary care and some topic of the advanced first aid program and the use of the AED
